Officer Kevin Bryson began his distinguished law enforcement career in 1996 with the Dallas Police Department. In September 2000, Kevin joined the Lewisville Police Department, where he currently serves in the Patrol Division. Throughout his service, Kevin has demonstrated a deep commitment to public safety and leadership.
His experience includes serving as a Detective in the Narcotics Unit, where he worked closely with local, state, and federal partners to combat drug and weapons violations. In 2006, he was instrumental in the formation of the Lewisville Police Department Honor Guard, where served as the Quartermaster.
Officer Bryson also leads as a Platoon Leader and Instructor for the Mobile Field Force, instructing Crowd Management to all sworn personnel at Lewisville PD. He also served as a member of the SWAT Support Team.
In 2024, Kevin was elected the first President of the Lewisville Police Foundation, where his focus is to foster unity, support, and benevolence among department personnel—reinforcing a family-oriented culture within the Lewisville PD.
Beyond his professional achievements, Kevin enjoys spending quality time with his wife Lori, to whom he’s been married for 23 years. Together, they share a passion for cruising and traveling with their family. Their son, Hunter, is proudly following in Kevin’s legacy of public service and is pursuing a career in the Fire Service.
