Before retiring, Bob Shade spent 30 years as an executive with a Fortune 100 company. He lived in Georgia and Virginia before planting roots and raising a family in Texas. He was married for 30 years before his wife passed away in 2019. Bob has two grown children, a daughter who lives in Washington, D.C. and a son who lives in Ponder. Looking for a second act, he came out of retirement to work with a close friend that had a towing company. Bob has worked for Pro Tow Wrecker Service in Lewisville as General Manager since 2018.Outside of work, Bob, along with his children, established The Shade Foundation. The Foundation supports activities such as student scholarships and adults with learning disabilities as well as topics his late wife found worthy. Bob enjoys fishing and working on his ever-growing car collection. He spends much of his summer every year in his adopted country, Ireland.
