I was born in Dallas Tx and my family moved to Lewisville when I was 5, back in 1973. I grew up here, graduated from Lewisville High School and met my Husband while in high school. We did not actually begin dating until after we graduated. We moved to Flower Mound and have lived there for almost 40 years. He took over his Father's pawn shop business back in the late 80's here in Lewisville and I have always helped him run this business. We have put our lives into that business and have made many friends both in the community and in the PD. We have always been a friend to the PD and many officers over the years have come by to have us help them do transfers or just stopped in to say hello. When tragedy struck us at the business, the LPD stepped up and made me feel like he was one of them. It was the most hardest and at the same time blessed thing I have ever been through. To feel the love and care from everyone in the PD, is and was overwhelming. I have now taken over the Lewisville Pawn shop business along with my brother and am honored to have been asked to do this. The LPD will always have a special place in my heart and will always be a friend to our business and we will always be there for them.
